I'm an aspiring game, level, and system designer. Currently, I'm focusing on learning as much as I can about programming so I'm able to bring out my ideas to life and practice further practice my design side.
I've decided to pursue game development after completing Dark Souls for the first time. I just sat in silence, staring at the credits rolling, blown away by the way that the mechanics interacted with each other, how the world was so vast yet interconnected and intuitive to navigate. This experience piqued my interest in studying the patterns in video games and how they produce emotions in the players. I aim to allow players to experience challenge and emotions while still respecting agency for them to live stories they wouldn't be able to experience in real life.
Currently, Im third year game design student at Sheridan College, on my way to my fourth year.
My skills reside in programming and using Unity, creating Excel game simulations, using the level design pipeline, Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN) ,creating board games, and creating non-humanoid 3D models in Blender
When I'm not working on games, you can probably find me painting miniatures, creating robots and microgames with microcontrollers, helping at the Sheridan Microcontroller Club (Sheridan Technomancy Club), or at the gym.
